How this padel odds comparison works
Every bookmaker prices the same match differently, and the gap is money. We poll each book we cover, group the prices by match and selection, and mark the best available one — that is the price you should be taking, and it is rarely the same book twice.
A price is also a probability. A decimal price of 2.00 implies the outcome happens half the time; 1.25 implies 80%. Add up the implied probabilities on both sides of a match and the total comes to more than 100% — that excess is the bookmaker's margin, and it is what you pay to bet there. We show it per book, fairest first.
Where the market is complete enough to be sure of it, we go further: the edge on a best price is measured against the rest of the market with the margin stripped out, and the best-price book is excluded so it is not marked against its own opinion. When the best prices on both sides imply less than 100% between them, that is an arbitrage, and it is flagged with the stake split.
None of it is computed on half a market. A margin or an edge needs a set of outcomes we can prove is complete and mutually exclusive; where coverage is partial there is no figure at all, because a confident-looking number from incomplete data is worse than none.
Padel odds — common questions
What does odds comparison actually get me?
The same bet at a better price. If one book offers 3.50 and another 3.20 on the same outcome, the first pays 9% more for an identical wager — and which book is best changes match by match, which is why it is worth checking rather than defaulting to one account.
Why do the odds differ between bookmakers?
Each book sets its own price from its own model and its own exposure, and adds its own margin on top. Padel is thinly traded compared with football or tennis, so those differences are wider than usual — the gaps here are larger than a comparison site for a major sport would show.
What is a bookmaker margin?
The amount built into the prices in the book's favour. Convert both sides of a match to implied probability and add them: the amount over 100% is the margin. A 6% margin returns meaningfully more of your stake over time than an 8% one, and we show the figure for every book we hold prices from.
How often do these odds update?
Every few minutes, and continuously during live matches. Any price we have not seen a bookmaker refresh within a few hours is dropped rather than displayed as current — a stale price that wins "best price" would send you to a bookmaker for a number that no longer exists.
Do you take bets?
No. Nothing is wagered here. We compare prices and link out to the bookmaker, where you hold the account and place the bet. Where a link earns us a commission it does not change the ordering — the best price is whichever book is actually offering it.
